It's your responsibility to B.R.A.G.

Here's why self-promotion is one of your most important responsibilities:
What if you're the answer to someone's biggest problem and they don't know it because you're letting "I don't want to brag" prevent you from sharing legitimate, valuable wins that demonstrate your unique expertise?
🤦 The leaders who never realized you had a repeatable system for organizing and influencing cross-functional teams, because you fluffed off your role in delivering a project under budget and two weeks early as a "team effort."
🤦 The executive team that never saw how your strategy for gaining a 25% lift in leads could be applied to other campaigns, becasue you chalked it up to "just good timing."
🤦 The first-time buyers who don't see how strongly you advocate in negotiations because you modestly describe yourself as someone who "gets good deals for clients" instead of sharing how you negotiated $15k off closing costs in a hot market.
It's like keeping the corner pieces of a jigsaw puzzle in your pocket while you watch a group try to put it together. If you wouldn't do that, then stop hiding your value.
Your work does not speak for itself. You must give it a voice.Â
Know your stories. Tell them well. Make them specific, memorable and repeatable.Â
